Iâve always been fascinated by magic.
Â
But not in the sideshow, Vegas-y kinda way.
Â
I dig the magic people create when they chuck the rules, and conjure up a reality that defies what most believe is possible.
Â
Who doesnât love a story where someone dramatically, and beyond all odds, shifts the plot line of their lives? Who inspire us to dream bigger?
Â
The stories of miraculous healing, of transcending extreme hardship, of creating or doing what no one has done before.
Â
Weâre capable of the seemingly impossible, when holding strong to our deep desires and vision for life.
Â
But what about what you create on the daily?
Â
The not so miraculous, but equally profound effect your everyday choices have on shaping your life?
Â
Youâre creating and magicking up a lot of what you experience, but to what end?
Â
To 'just survive'?  Or to thrive?
Â
This is where the 'end justifies the means' matters.
Â
If you focus on survival, fearâll be your driver and youâll find ample evidence of things that are a threat and you should avoid.
Â
Fear, too, will narrow your focus on your own well-being, reinforcing your deepest fear that youâre on your own, instead of opening up to all the seen and unseen support that is available to you if you brave up and ask. (And if youâre not brave, still ask!)
Â
Fear sees death as the ultimate enemy then, something to outwit at all costs.
Â
Fueled by stress, lots of folks are hastening their inevitable demise.
Â
Dying without ever having really lived.
Â
Truth be told though, much of what we humans are conditioned to want and to chase is not life-giving, or life-affirming in the end.
Â
Youâre taught to conform to, not question, the ideals and expectations of the society you grew up in. And to challenge societal norms is to risk very real cancelling or banishment.
Â
So then you end up focusing on the wrong end of the stick, on what you donât want to experience, on whatâs painful or threatening; on what to avoid.
Â
Chasing safety and security, while inadvertently fueling the driver underneath - more anxiety.
Â
Thatâs why you get stuck and start believing that youâre not powerful enough to create the life you say you want âcause your fear sticks you.
Â
Thatâs what stops and blocks your magic.
Â
If you want different youâve got to dig deeper and find out what you truly desire...dream into whatâs most expansive, what excites you, what you feel passionate about, and then stake your claim to enchant for that.
Â
Forget about running it by your ego, or hold yourself back because âwhat will THEY think??â
Â
Let 'them' run their own lives, not yours.
Â
Ditch the Iâm not enough, worthy or lovable stories too.
It's what you started to tell yourself when you thought your desires were too much for the world.
Â
Yes stuff did happen to you, trauma is real, and it doesnât have to define you. Seek help so it doesnât have to anymore.
Â
And please oh please stop trying to be ârealisticâ. A lot of your desires are going to feel freakishly unreasonable in comparison to what youâve settled for in the past.
Â
Choose a life where you astonish yourself.
Â
I reckon thatâs time well spent on the planet.
Â
So take a minute right now, drop in, and ask yourself:
Â
âIf I really did have a magic wand (and you do! **Hint** Its your imagination) TRUTH, what do I REALLY desire? If I could conjure it up, what would it be?
Â
Then donât question it. Claim it!
Â
Follow those bread crumbs and intuitive nudges that seem to point you in that direction, even, and especially, if you donât know why.
Â
Magic happens in the space between the known and unknown.
Â
Its what connects the two, but it always, always, starts with the truth and a question that activates the field of Infinite Potential weâre all connected to, that is:
Â
Magic is simply the practice then, of making your desires come to life.
Â
Of moving what you believe is impossible on one side of lifeâs ledger to the inevitable.
Â
Deciding that youâre worthy of your desires and declaring with full trust that theyâre on the way.
Better yet, acting in alignment with that belief.Â
Â
Then **poof** just like magic watch them appear!
Â
So, my friend, what would you love to experience?
